We were overjoyed to see so many young, educated, healthy WHITE PEOPLE at this significant event as we walked in the door.
No doubt Shane Claiborne drew the crowd with his engaging communication style. It was a well organised event and an important time to share issues of the marginalised and begin or I should say continue conversations about supporting the needy and broken in our community. This was why the opportunity that Francine, Uncle Roy, the Atkinson’s and myself had to share with this ‘big mob’ of people was a privelige. Focussing a part of the spotlight on the history and the spiritual wellbeing of local Indigenous people is very important and we are thankful for the opportunity to be able to do that. Thanks Dusk, Nick, Anita and all who were interested enough to engage with us. Let’s keep that conversation alive…… Over to you!
